:: important stuff to help you and me ::
here's some basic stuff to consider when recording. i can't require you
to do any of this, but i highly recommend these things. you are paying for a high quality recording, but i can
only make you sound as good as your equipment and performance allows.
change your guitar and bass strings.
i've had people come in that have NEVER changed their bass strings, and as a result, their bass sounds, generally,
like crap. new strings make your instrument sound like it is supposed to sound, with more life and clarity.
change heads and tune drums.
very important. a bad drum sound can kill your recording. if you don't know how to tune your kit, find someone
that does. you'll be very thankful in the end.
bring good amps.
TUBE!!! borrow if you have to. if you record with a solid state, it's going to sound like a solid state. i promise
you'll regret it.
